I offer consultations, styling, and sessions 7 days a week, Monday-Sunday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. I am available by phone, text, email, zoom and in-person to discuss your session or any questions or concerns you have.

My studio is outside of Annapolis Maryland, conveniently located between Route 97 and Rt 100. My studio is on the bottom level of a commercial building with free parking. Once you arrive, text and I will meet you to help carry any wardrobe, etc.

Everyone is welcome here! Boudoir is not just for women. Men can and do benefit from the experience as it gives them a way to explore their masculinity and sensuality. For privacy, only one session is scheduled at a time. Sessions will not overlap.

Yes! I generally only photograph couples in the downtown loft location or boutique hotel. This is an additional cost but offers the best enviroment to tell your story and showcase your connection. If you select the boutique hotel. it's yours for the night! Make it a date night and continue the vibe into dinner and a night away.

The first step is to connect over a phone call, zoom or coffee. Let's make sure we are a good fit and manage any expectations. Once you decide to move forward, you pay your session fee to book and the date and time is selected. We then get into the full details of the session! Hair and makeup, wardrobe, any themes or props, any concerns. We discuss the story you want to tell- you never need a reason to be your own true self! I will help you with wardrobe and styling, provide you with a buying guide for any budget. I do provide some accessories, robes, jewelry and my favorite- two different styles of angel wings! I do not provide initmate wear as this is a very personal choice. I do suggest several outfits and we can go into lots of detail once booked. 

Your session can be scheduled for day or early evening. I realize that many clients like to do their own hair and makeup or already have someone they trust. I do have several well vetted and experienced hair and makeup artists that I can connect you with. You will arrange and pay for this service separately. You will arrive at the studio camera ready except for wardrobe. I have a private dressing area, clothing rack, steamer and full length mirror for you to change. You will be guided through your session in flattering poses and angles with profesional lights and camera equipment. The session generally takes 2 hrs and allows us plenty of time for wardrobe and set changes. 

Everything is at your comfort level! From your own personal choices in wardrobe to how we pose. It's all customized to you and your story. Want to pose in an oversized sweater and long, cozy socks? Wear harness lingerie?  Nothing but a sheet? A lace robe and heels? Have a spicy set that you have been saving just for this? It's all up to you! Your comfort is everything.

I will load your images onto a laptop/computer and we will view in-person or via zoom. I will have already made an initial pass through the images to remove anywhere I caught you blinking, mid-pose, etc.  On the first pass of each image, we will flag it as either a "love, must have" a "maybe" or a "no." We will then only look at loved and liked images to narrow down your best selections. I will help you through this process, using my professional eye to find the most unique and flattering images that you couldn't imagine leaving behind. After the images are chosen and the order is finalized, I get to work again! If you are utilizing a payment plan, I will edit the full gallery once all payments are made. If paid in full, I will start editing right away, generally 7-10 days to complete. Images are delivered per the package purchased. Products of final images may take 2-3 weeks. My highest package has handmade products from Italy that may 6-8 weeks to deliver. All products are delivered to me so that I can inspect for quality and color consistency.

I am very well versed in photoshop and the latest retouching techniques. I will edit skin, distractions, hair, teeth, eyes and color tone. We can discuss removal of a blemish, scars, marks, etc. My philosphy is the best version of you. Responsible use of Photoshop in retouching boudoir photographs involves enhancing your natural beauty while maintaining authenticity and avoiding unrealistic alterations. It's important to focus on subtle corrections that boost confidence and celebrate the individual's unique features, rather than creating an entirely artificial appearance. This ethical approach respects the subject's true self and promotes my other philosphy that all bodies are deserving, worthy and beautiful. 

Once images are selected, finalized and paid for, I begin to edit the gallery. Only fully paid galleries are edited, this allows for consistency and color accuracy. Digital products are delivered 7-10 days after the session. Products can take 2-3 weeks, depending on package. You do not have to purchase products from me though I highly encourage you to use my professional print labs. My computer is color calibrated and profiled to match my pro labs. I do not gurantee color or quality if printing outside of Velvet Hill Boudoir. Once you see the quality and luxury of my hand picked products, I promise you wouldn't trust these images to anyone else.

Your images are never shared without your explicit permission, ensuring your privacy and confidentiality. I understand the personal and intimate nature of boudoir photos, and I am committed to treating them with the utmost respect and care. Some clients love that I can share "anonymous, faceless" images that allow them to be shared yet without identifying the subject.
